Scientific findings and practical solutions from the Global Stress and Resilience Network

The Global Stress and Resilience Network (GSRNet) connects science, national research initiatives and political decision-makers to translate scientific findings into practical solutions. Stress phenomena are researched globally and contextually to develop effective resilience strategies.

The core objectives of GSRNet are:

  • Establishment of a multidisciplinary network

  • Promotion of international cooperation

  • Provision of research resources

  • Develop evidence-based recommendations for policy and practice

  • Promoting dialog between science, the public and politics

  • Standardized definitions of the terms “stress” and “resilience”

The exchange across national borders is key to understanding the complexity of stress and driving forward innovative resilience research. The LIR contributes its proven expertise with Prof. Dr. Raffael Kalisch as a board member of the network.
